A beach of white quartz grains on the Sinis peninsula in western Sardinia, north of Capo Mannu. The coast faces west into the mistral swell: when the north-westerly drops after a storm and the wind turns east, the beach and reef breaks clean up. During the mistral itself it is windsurfers who use it. Sandy bottom with rock patches, and uncrowded outside summer.
