Władysławowo is a port town at the root of the Hel Peninsula, on the Kashubian coast of northern Poland, with around 9,400 residents. It sits between the open Baltic and the calmer Puck Bay, which gives visitors two very different kinds of water within a short walk. This beach webcam looks over the Szotland district on the western side of town, across the marram-covered dune to the sand and the open sea, so it shows you the Baltic side. The Coastal Landscape Park lies nearby, and Poland's northernmost point at Jastrzębia Góra is in the same municipality, a short way west. Tourism is one of the town's main sources of income, and the viewing tower on the old Fisherman's House gives a view over the harbour. With the coast facing north, a northerly pushes waves straight in, and they can build quickly. Check the wind forecast and sea temperature below, and look at Puck Bay if the open sea is too rough.
