The northernmost part of Sharm el-Sheikh, at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba. A northerly wind blows side-on along the shore, and a fringing reef shelters a flat, shallow lagoon behind it. Kite centres work from the hotel beaches. Launching is limited by the reef at low tide, so check the zones. Winds are best in the warm half of the year.
