A deep-water reef that only wakes up when everything else is closing out — it needs a long-period NW or W swell and starts to make sense from double overhead. The paddle out from the slipway is long and the current along the reef is constant. A big-wave spot with a serious local crowd, watched from the cliff by more people than are ever in the water.
