A long straight beach on the Roussillon plain with the Étang de Leucate behind it, so there is both sea and flat lagoon within minutes. The tramontane blows cross-shore here and holds for days once it sets in. Shallow sand bottom a long way out, which makes it a common place to learn kite. Busy in August and open and empty the rest of the year.
