The north-west corner of Oléron, where the island turns to face the open Atlantic and picks up swell the sheltered east coast never sees. Sand bottom, mellow at size and a reliable summer wave when the mainland beaches are flat. The Saint-Denis side is the more consistent end. Gets busy in August with holiday traffic from the campsites behind the dune.
