The first village on Île de Ré as you cross the bridge, with shallow water on both sides of the point and enough fetch across the Pertuis Breton for a clean working breeze. Flat to lightly chopped, which suits freeride windsurfing and early kite sessions. Strong tidal streams run past the bridge pilings, so stay upwind of them; the launch is easiest two hours either side of high water.
