A village near the head of Lake Como and the lake's windsurfing centre. On sunny days the Breva, a thermal southerly, fills in around midday and blows side-onshore along this shore until evening; the Tivano blows from the north early in the morning. Gravel beaches and campsites line the shore, with schools working from them. Best from May to September, and the water stays cold.
