Brodarica is a seaside village of about 2,600 people in the city of Šibenik, facing the small island of Krapanj across a narrow channel. It lies between the Solaris hotel resort to the north and Morinje Bay to the south, a fish spawning ground known for deposits of healing mud, with the open Šibenik channel to the west. Croatian sources describe it as a quiet place of villas and family houses, good for family holidays and swimming from picturesque stone and sandy beaches, and the village has its own water polo club. The live panorama comes from the Croatia - Live panorama view channel, which also runs the cams at Primošten and Rogoznica further south. It looks along the seafront promenade and the beach at Rezalište, with pine and tamarisk trees, benches and the water beyond. Because the coast faces west towards the islands, it is sheltered from the open sea and the water is usually calm.
