A long, north-facing Baltic beach in front of Kühlungsborn's seaside villas and pier, in Mecklenburg. With no tide and a sandy bottom it is an easy place to get on the water. Northerly winds blow onshore and build a short Baltic chop; southerlies are offshore and flatten it. Busy in summer, quiet and often windy in spring and autumn.
