A cove below high cliffs on the Costa Vicentina, with a sandy beach break and a right-hand reef at the northern end by the small fishing harbour. It holds the big north-west swells that close out the open beaches and is sheltered from the summer north wind; east is offshore. Surf schools use it all year, so the beach peaks get busy.
