Croatia's best-known kite beach, a long sandy stretch on the spit just north-west of the old town of Nin, near Zadar. The water stays shallow a long way out, which makes it ideal for learning. The summer maestral fills in from the north-west most afternoons, and outside summer the bura brings stronger, gustier sessions. Nin's lagoon is also known for its therapeutic mud.
