Turkey's windsurf capital, a shallow bay south of the town of Alaçatı on the Çeşme peninsula. From May to October a strong northerly blows side-offshore across the bay nearly every day, often 20 to 30 knots in July and August, while the water stays flat. It has hosted World Cup slalom events and has a whole strip of windsurf centres. Kiting has its own separate zone.
