Ireland's surf capital, on Donegal Bay. The Peak, right in front of the town, is a shallow reef that throws fast lefts and shorter rights on a good west or north-west swell. It needs a south-easterly wind, is very tide-sensitive, and fills with locals when it's on. Beginners are better off at Tullan Strand or the main beach, a few minutes away.
