A long west-facing beach on the Atlantic side of the Cotentin, south of Agon-Coutainville, used by kitesurfers in south-west to north-west winds. The tidal range here is among the largest in Europe: at low water the sand runs out for well over a kilometre, so ride from mid to high tide and watch the incoming flood. Sandy bottom, plenty of space, and rarely crowded.
