The town beach on the sheltered south side of the peninsula, which is the opposite of the Côte Sauvage a kilometre to the west: the headland blocks most of the Atlantic swell, so the water here stays small and the sailing and windsurf schools work all summer. Sea breeze builds through the afternoon. Packed in August, and a reliable fallback when the exposed side is unmanageable.
