The town beach of Naxos, a shallow sandy bay just south of the harbour where a windsurf and kite centre has worked for decades. The summer meltemi blows from the north, across the bay and slightly off the land, leaving flat, waist-deep water on the inside, a classic place to learn. Further out the wind is stronger and gustier. The season runs from May to October.
