A beach north of Netanya, in a national park, and Israel's best-known kite spot. Winter storms bring strong south-westerly and westerly winds with wave-riding conditions. In summer the afternoon sea breeze blows from the west. A rock shelf lies off part of the beach, so launch from the sandy section. It gets crowded on windy weekends.
