A deep, almost enclosed bay on Menorca's north coast, several kilometres long and flat even when the sea outside is rough. The tramuntana (N) funnels straight down its length, and summer brings a steady light sea breeze that suits beginners, SUP and dinghies. Season runs from April to October. On strong tramuntana days the gusts come hard off the land near the mouth.
