A windsurfing launch on the Laguna Madre side of Padre Island, inside the National Seashore south of Corpus Christi. The lagoon is shallow, warm and flat, and you can stand almost everywhere, which makes it a classic place to learn and to practise speed. The south-easterly sea breeze blows steadily from spring through summer. Kiting has its own zone.
