The headland between Mooloolaba and Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, which locals call Alex, with a right-hander off the rocks and beach-break peaks along the sand to its north. It needs south-east to east swell, often from summer cyclones, and southerly to south-westerly winds are offshore at the point. One of the area's more consistent breaks, and busy with locals and surf schools.
