A Wadden Sea spot on the East Frisian coast, beside the ferry port for Norderney and Juist. Around high tide the water covers the mudflats, giving flat, shallow riding behind the islands in westerly and north-westerly winds; at low tide there is no water at all. Plan every session around high tide. A kite and windsurf school works from the grass beach behind the dike.
