Long sandy beach on the east coast of Limnos, in the north Aegean, and one of Greece's quieter kite destinations. The summer meltemi arrives here from the north-east and blows side-shore, strong and steady, over shallow water close to the beach. Further out it gets choppy with small waves. The island is far from the ferry crowds of the Cyclades, so there is plenty of room.
