A North Sea beach at the end of the Veerse Gatdam in Zeeland, and one of the Dutch coast's busiest kite and windsurf spots. South-west to north-west winds blow cross-onshore and bring short North Sea waves; on a big westerly it is a wave spot. Sandbanks and tidal streams from the Veerse Gat change the water through the day; stay away from the dam.
