Stone beach at the southern tip of Torö, in the Stockholm archipelago near Nynäshamn, and the best-known surf spot on Sweden's Baltic coast. Waves only arrive when a strong southerly or south-easterly blows across the open Baltic, most often in autumn storms, and windsurfers ride the same wind. The beach is made of round stones, so boots help, and the water is cold.
