Injidup is a stretch of coast in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, about ten minutes' drive south of Yallingup in Western Australia's South West, at the northern end of the Margaret River surfing region. The area takes in Injidup Beach, a west-facing sweep of sand backed by granite and limestone, and a number of reef breaks around Injidup Point, including a powerful right-hand point break that is one of the region's better-known waves. Like the rest of the Margaret River coast, Injidup is exposed to the full force of Indian Ocean groundswell from the south-west and is at its best from autumn to spring, when swells are largest. The waves here break over shallow reef and rock and are suited to experienced surfers; the beach itself has heavy shore break and strong rips on bigger days, and there are no lifeguard patrols, so swimmers should take great care. Easterly winds blow offshore, most often in the mornings. The Injidup Natural Spa, a rock pool that fills with foaming water when waves break over the reef, is a short walk south along the Cape to Cape Track.
