A right-hander that runs from the rock at the mouth of Currumbin Creek on the southern Gold Coast. The alley is the deep channel beside the wave, which makes paddling out easy and the wave forgiving, so it is a favourite with longboarders and learners. It needs east to south-east swell and is best in a southerly wind, offshore along the point. The tide through the creek mouth matters.
