Manasquan is a Monmouth County borough on the Jersey Shore, and its beachfront runs north from the Manasquan Inlet, the channel that links the Manasquan River with the Atlantic and separates the town from Point Pleasant Beach. The north jetty of the inlet creates the most famous wave in New Jersey, simply called the Inlet: a wedging right that peels off the rocks on east and south-east swells, especially from hurricanes passing offshore in late summer and autumn, and draws good surfers from all over the state. North of it the beach continues as a row of sandbar peaks between rock groins, easier and less crowded. West and north-west winds are offshore. In summer the beach is a busy family beach with lifeguard stands, and like most of the Jersey Shore a seasonal beach badge is needed; surfing is restricted to designated beaches during guarded hours. The historic Squan Beach Life-Saving Station stands on the beachfront. Rip currents are strong along the jetties, and the inlet has heavy boat traffic and currents. We have no live cam for Manasquan on this page yet; check the surf report and wind forecast below. The ocean runs from about 4 °C in February to 23 °C in August.

No webcam here. Closest live cam we know of: Seaside Heights (19 km).
